Issue #5: Wins that gave me confidence, Resources we're loving, and AI Magic

How one win gave me the confidence to try to win again.

Let’s get into it. 👇🏼

When my book hit number one on Product Hunt, something clicked.
I think for me, beyond the shiny badge, I was amazed by the fact that I had taken an idea, willed it into existence, and watched thousands of people download it in a single day. This was enough validation. Not just of the book, but of me.
A win like that would shift something inside of you.
For me, it broke through a ceiling I didn’t even know was there. Suddenly, the world felt different. I started to really believe that I could do more.
So when people who had read the book, reached out asking for help, I said yes.
Did I have a step-by-step plan? No.
Did I have experience running a coaching program? Also no.
But did I believe I could figure it out? Absolutely.
Why? Because the Product Hunt win had birthed a confidence in me that made me say yes before fear had a chance to talk me out of it.
Of course, reality fought back.
My email address got blocked over and over again.
The domain I paid for randomly stopped working.
My email marketing tool refused to verify my account.
Every step forward felt like slamming into a brick wall.
The me from six months ago might have taken these as signs from God and given up.
But that wasn’t me anymore.
Instead of seeing obstacles, I saw problems I could solve — a business coming to life before my eyes. So I kept pushing, adjusting, finding ways to work around my struggles. And every time something went wrong, I reminded myself: "I figured it out before. I can figure it out again."
I could only feel this way because my win had encouraged me, had given me the confidence that I was not going to fail, and even if things went wrong, I would keep believing in myself anyway.
So here’s the lesson: Lasso your small wins and use them to pull bigger ones. Whenever you feel that rare, electric burst of optimism coming from an idea, don’t waste it. Channel it into action. Say yes before doubt has a chance to creep in. Because if you ride that momentum, you’ll end up somewhere you never thought possible.
